Hittite Old Kingdom
Hittite Old Kingdom was a state in Anatolia (Middle East) that lasted from c. 1650 to 1400 BCE, about 250 years. Its people spoke Anatolian languages (Hittite, Luwian, Lydian, Lycian).
Hattusili I made Hattusa his capital and his grandson Mursili I raided as far as Babylon in 1595 BCE. Palace murders and succession wars then weakened the kingdom for over a century.
