Manchukuo
Manchukuo was a colony in Manchuria (East Asia) that lasted from 1932 to 1945 CE, about 13 years. Its people spoke Japonic languages (Japanese, Ryukyuan).
A Japanese puppet state with the last Qing emperor Puyi as its figurehead. Japan built mines and factories there, and Unit 731 ran germ warfare experiments near Harbin; the Soviet invasion of August 1945 ended it.
