Polish People's Republic
Polish People's Republic was a state in Central Europe (Europe) that lasted from 1947 to 1989 CE, about 42 years. Its people spoke Slavic languages (Russian, Polish, Czech, Serbian, Bulgarian, Ukrainian).
A Soviet-bloc state shifted west to the Oder-Neisse line after the war. The Solidarity trade union, founded in 1980, forced the semi-free elections of 1989.
