People's Socialist Republic of Albania
People's Socialist Republic of Albania was a state in Balkans and Greece (Europe) that lasted from 1946 to 1991 CE, about 45 years. The timeline colours it by the language of its rulers: Other Indo-European (Armenian, Albanian, Thracian, Illyrian, Phrygian, Tocharian, Dacian).
The communist state of Albania from 11 January 1946 to 29 April 1991, called the People's Republic until 1976. Led by Enver Hoxha until 1985 and then Ramiz Alia, it followed an anti-revisionist Stalinist line that brought splits with the Soviet Union in 1956 and China in 1978.
