Pahlavi Iran
Pahlavi Iran was a state in Iran (Middle East) that lasted from 1925 to 1979 CE, about 54 years. Its people spoke Iranian languages (Median, Persian, Parthian, Scythian, Sogdian, Pashto, Kurdish).
Reza Shah and his son Mohammad Reza modernised the army, schools and roads by decree. A 1953 coup backed by the US and Britain restored the shah's power, and the 1979 revolution overthrew him.
