Kazakh SSR
Kazakh SSR was a state in Kazakh steppe and Semirechye (Central and North Asia) that lasted from 1920 to 1991 CE, about 71 years. Its people spoke Turkic languages (Gokturk, Uyghur, Seljuk, Ottoman, Kazakh, Tatar).
A Soviet republic, first autonomous within Russia and a full union republic from 1936. Forced settlement of nomads caused the famine of 1930 to 1933, and Khrushchev's Virgin Lands campaign ploughed the northern steppe.
