Tuvan People's Republic
Tuvan People's Republic was a state in Western Siberia and the Altai (Central and North Asia) that lasted from 1921 to 1944 CE, about 23 years. The timeline colours it by the language of its rulers: Turkic (Gokturk, Uyghur, Seljuk, Ottoman, Kazakh, Tatar).
Declared independent on 14 August 1921 on the territory of the former Russian protectorate of Uryankhay Krai, and recognised only by the Soviet Union and Mongolia. After increased Soviet influence, it was absorbed into the Russian SFSR in October 1944 at its parliament's request.
