People's Democratic Republic of Yemen
People's Democratic Republic of Yemen was a state in Arabia (Middle East) that lasted from 1967 to 1990 CE, about 23 years. Its people spoke Arabic languages (Arabic-speaking states).
The only Marxist state in the Arab world, formed after British withdrawal from Aden. A short, bloody civil war in 1986 weakened it before unification with the north in 1990.
