Mexican California
Mexican California was a state in Pacific Coast and California (North America) that lasted from 1821 to 1848 CE, about 27 years. Its people spoke Latin and Romance languages (Latin, Italic, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Romanian).
Mexican territory where the missions were secularized in the 1830s and their lands turned into ranchos. US forces took it in 1846 and Mexico ceded it in 1848, days after gold was found.
