Anglo-Egyptian Sudan
Anglo-Egyptian Sudan was a colony in Nubia and Sudan (North and West Africa) that lasted from 1899 to 1956 CE, about 57 years. Its people spoke Germanic languages (Gothic, Frankish, English, German, Dutch, Norse).
Joint British and Egyptian rule, in practice British. Separate policies for the Arab north and the Christian and animist south laid the ground for later civil wars.
