German Confederation
German Confederation was a state in Central Europe (Europe) that lasted from 1815 to 1866 CE, about 51 years. Its people spoke Germanic languages (Gothic, Frankish, English, German, Dutch, Norse).
A league of 39 German states set up at the Congress of Vienna under Austrian presidency. The Austro-Prussian War of 1866 broke it up.
