Kingdom of Portugal
Kingdom of Portugal was a state in Iberia (Europe) that lasted from 1139 to 1910 CE, about 771 years. Its people spoke Latin and Romance languages (Latin, Italic, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Romanian).
Portugal took Lisbon in 1147, fixed its borders by 1249 and under the House of Aviz led the age of ocean exploration. The 1755 earthquake levelled Lisbon, and the monarchy fell in 1910.
