Switzerland
Switzerland is a state in Central Europe (Europe) that has existed since 1803 CE. Its people spoke Germanic languages (Gothic, Frankish, English, German, Dutch, Norse).
Restored as a confederation of cantons in 1803 after the French-imposed Helvetic Republic, it won recognised neutrality in 1815 and a federal constitution in 1848. It stayed out of both world wars.
