Kingdom of Georgia
Kingdom of Georgia was a state in Caucasus (Middle East) that lasted from 1008 to 1490 CE, about 482 years. Its people spoke Kartvelian languages (Georgian).
United under the Bagratids, Georgia peaked under David IV and Queen Tamar, ruling from the Black Sea to the Caspian. Mongol and Timurid invasions wore it down until it split into rival kingdoms in 1490.
