American Philippines
American Philippines was a colony in Borneo and the Philippines (Southeast Asia) that lasted from 1898 to 1946 CE, about 48 years. Its people spoke Germanic languages (Gothic, Frankish, English, German, Dutch, Norse).
The United States bought the islands from Spain in 1898 and defeated the Filipino republic in a war that killed hundreds of thousands. The Commonwealth of 1935 prepared for independence, which the Japanese invasion delayed.
