Nguyen dynasty
Nguyen dynasty was a state in Vietnam (Southeast Asia) that lasted from 1802 to 1945 CE, about 143 years. Its people spoke Austroasiatic languages (Khmer, Mon, Vietnamese, Munda).
Gia Long ruled all of Vietnam from a new citadel at Hue. France seized the south from 1858 and made the rest a protectorate in 1883 to 1885, and the last emperor, Bao Dai, abdicated in 1945.
