Provisional Revolutionary Government of South Vietnam
Provisional Revolutionary Government of South Vietnam was a state in Vietnam (Southeast Asia) that lasted from 1969 to 1976 CE, about 7 years. The timeline colours it by the language of its rulers: Austroasiatic (Khmer, Mon, Vietnamese, Munda).
Formed on 8 June 1969 by North Vietnam as an armed rival to the Saigon government, at a meeting of the Viet Cong and allied groups in Cambodia's Fishhook region. After Saigon fell on 30 April 1975 it replaced the Republic of Vietnam, and it merged with the North on 2 July 1976.
