Tay Son dynasty
Tay Son dynasty was a state in Vietnam (Southeast Asia) that lasted from 1778 to 1802 CE, about 24 years. Its people spoke Austroasiatic languages (Khmer, Mon, Vietnamese, Munda).
Three brothers from Tay Son rose in revolt in 1771, overthrew both the Nguyen and Trinh lords, and routed a Qing invasion at Dong Da in 1789. Nguyen Anh, the surviving Nguyen heir, defeated them in 1802.
