Thonburi Kingdom
Thonburi Kingdom was a state in Thailand and Laos (Southeast Asia) that lasted from 1767 to 1782 CE, about 15 years. Its people spoke Kra-Dai languages (Thai, Lao, Shan, Zhuang).
Taksin, a general of part-Chinese descent, expelled the Burmese within months of Ayutthaya's fall and reunited Siam. His officers deposed and executed him in 1782.
