British Kenya
British Kenya was a colony in Swahili Coast and East Africa (Central and Southern Africa) that lasted from 1895 to 1963 CE, about 68 years. Its people spoke Germanic languages (Gothic, Frankish, English, German, Dutch, Norse).
The East Africa Protectorate of 1895 became Kenya Colony in 1920. White settlers took the central highlands, and the Mau Mau uprising of 1952 to 1960 was crushed with mass detention before independence.
