Central African Republic
Central African Republic is a state in Congo Basin and Katanga (Central and Southern Africa) that has existed since 1960 CE. Its people spoke Niger-Congo languages (Mande, Yoruba, Akan, Fula, Wolof, Igbo (non-Bantu)).
The former Ubangi-Shari became independent in 1960. Jean-Bédel Bokassa crowned himself emperor from 1976 to 1979, and civil war since 2013 has left much of the country outside government control.
