Timurid Empire
Timurid Empire was an empire in Transoxiana and Khwarazm (Central and North Asia) that lasted from 1370 to 1507 CE, about 137 years. Its people spoke Turkic languages (Gokturk, Uyghur, Seljuk, Ottoman, Kazakh, Tatar).
Timur conquered from Delhi to Ankara and filled Samarkand with blue-tiled mosques and madrasas. His grandson Ulugh Beg built an observatory there, and the Uzbeks under Muhammad Shaybani swept away the dynasty by 1507.
