Kingdom of Holland
Kingdom of Holland was a state in France and the Low Countries (Europe) that lasted from 1806 to 1810 CE, about 4 years. The timeline colours it by the language of its rulers: Germanic (Gothic, Frankish, English, German, Dutch, Norse).
Puppet kingdom created by Napoleon in 1806 to replace the Batavian Republic, with his brother Louis Bonaparte on the throne. Louis tried to serve Dutch interests over his brother's, and the kingdom was dissolved in 1810, after which France annexed the Netherlands until 1813.
