Timurid Empire
Timurid Empire was an empire in Iran (Middle East) that lasted from 1370 to 1507 CE, about 137 years. Its people spoke Turkic languages (Gokturk, Uyghur, Seljuk, Ottoman, Kazakh, Tatar).
Timur's campaigns left towers of skulls from Delhi to Damascus. His son Shah Rukh ruled Iran from Herat, a centre of Persian painting and poetry, until the Uzbeks took it in 1507.
