Republic of Hawaii

Republic of Hawaii was a state in Polynesia (Oceania) that lasted from 1894 to 1898 CE, about 4 years. Its people spoke Germanic languages (Gothic, Frankish, English, German, Dutch, Norse).

The planter-led government that overthrew the queen declared a republic under Sanford Dole in 1894 and sought annexation, which the United States granted in 1898.
