Majapahit Empire
Majapahit Empire was an empire in Java and Eastern Indonesia (Southeast Asia) that lasted from c. 1293 to 1527 CE, about 234 years. Its people spoke Austronesian languages (Malay, Javanese, Cham, Tagalog, Malagasy, Polynesian, Maori).
Raden Wijaya used a Mongol invasion force to defeat his rivals and then drove it out in 1293. Under Hayam Wuruk and his minister Gajah Mada it claimed overlordship of most of the archipelago before declining against Demak.
