British Gibraltar
British Gibraltar is a colony in Iberia (Europe) that has existed since 1713 CE. Its people spoke Germanic languages (Gothic, Frankish, English, German, Dutch, Norse).
Captured by an Anglo-Dutch fleet in 1704 and ceded to Britain at Utrecht in 1713. Spain still claims the rock, which remains a British naval base.
