Antemoro kingdom
Antemoro kingdom was a state in Madagascar and Indian Ocean Islands (Central and Southern Africa) that lasted from c. 1500 to 1890 CE, about 390 years. The timeline colours it by the language of its rulers: Austronesian (Malay, Javanese, Cham, Tagalog, Malagasy, Polynesian, Maori).
Kingdom on Madagascar's south-east coast, established in the 16th century and supplanting the Zafiraminia. Some clans claim Arabian or Persian descent, while other scholars link them to the Swahili coast. A commoners' uprising ended it in the late 19th century.
