Kingdom of Majorca
Kingdom of Majorca was a state in Iberia (Europe) that lasted from 1276 to 1344 CE, about 68 years. The timeline colours it by the language of its rulers: Latin and Romance (Latin, Italic, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Romanian).
An island realm of Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza and Formentera, separated when James I of Aragon died in 1276 and left it to his son James II. Peter IV of Aragon brought it back under his crown in 1344, and James III died trying to retake it at the Battle of Llucmajor in 1349.
